EMILY AMEDEE
Graduate teaching assistant in the Department of Communication Studies. She is a new member to the WGS Board, and serves in the communication committee.

ANTONETTE ARAGON PhD.
Associate professor in Colorado State University’s School of Education and race scholar in the Race and Intersectional Studies for Educational Equity (RISE). Her scholarship centers social justice, cultural responsiveness, and equitable opportunity particularly with Latinx students. A Latina/Mexicana/Chicana activist scholar, she and her community work for equitable change. Her educational leadership praxis intersects CRT, critical feminism, and LatCrit. Her publications include a co-edited book, and top tiered articles.

Administrative coordinator and Instructor for the Center for Women’s Studies & Gender Research.

ROE BUBAR J.D. (Board Chair)
Professor of Ethnic Studies, joint Appointed in the School of Social Work and Affiliate Faculty in Women’s Studies. Nationally recognized trainer and expert in interviewing children in child sexual abuse cases. Her research includes sexual violence, child maltreatment in tribal communities, and womyn of color feminisms.

Assistant Professor of Philosophy. Ashby teaches a course on feminist philosophies and is involved in equity programs on campus. She is a new member to the WGS Advisory Board and serves on the curriculum committee.

SILVIA CANETTO, PhD.
Professor, Department of Psychology, Counseling and Applied Social and Health Psychology Programs. Research on cultural scripts of gender and suicidality; on cultural scripts of gender and science/engineering; and on women’s human rights.

JAQUIKEYAH FIELDS
Women’s studies major with a minor in political science and anthropology. She has been active in the ASCSU Senate as a senator for the Women and Gender Advocacy Center and is a student representative in the WGS Advisory Board.

Manager of Undergraduate Recruitment Programs in the Walter Scott, Jr. College of Engineering. Jacqui is a new member to the WGS Advisory Board.

ERICA LAFEHR
MA student in Ethnic Studies, pursuing the Certificate in Gender, Power, and Difference in Women’s and Gender Studies, Inspired by her family’s labor organizing history, her current focus is on felt theory and racialized health issues in the context of neoliberal abandonment zones in the rust belt. She currently serves as the Communication Coordinator for WGS.

Professor, School of Education. Co-Coordinator, Education, Equity, & Transformation (EET) program. Her research centers on promoting Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice (DEIJ) in educational contexts and Critical Youth Empowerment.

MARIA DEL MAR LOPEZ-CABRALES, PhD.
Professor of Latin American and Spanish culture and literature in the department of Languages, Literatures and Culture. She works on contemporary women in Cuba, Latin America and Spain. Editor of Confluencia.

Director of the Hatton Gallery and Digital Performing Space, Department of Art and Art History; Social Justice thru the Arts Coordinator. She is a new member of the WGS Advisory Board, and serves in the communication committee.

ANGELICA MURRAY-OLSEN
Program Coordinator in the Women’s Advocacy Center. Angelica leads programmatic efforts including non-interpersonal violence, gender-centered programs including the annual Feminist Thought & Activism Conference.
