Karen J. Wedge Award
Karen Wedge served as the Director of Women's Programs and Studies at Colorado State University for 30 years. During her tenure she worked with and mentored hundreds of students around gender and multicultural issues. Karen supervised dozens of graduate students in the Master's program in Student Affairs in Higher Education and served on a multitude of committees including Honors, Master's and Ph.D. in other disciplines at the university. In addition, she was one of the key players in the formation of the Victim Assistance Team for victims of interpersonal violence, as well as the Women's Interdisciplinary Studies Program in which she developed and taught the Introduction to Women's Studies Course and co-taught the undergraduate and graduate seminars.
