Mentoring at Women's Interdisciplinary Studies
At the Center for Women's Studies and Gender Research, we believe that mentoring of students is important. Connecting with faculty or advanced graduate students is an important aspect of student development. We encourage our students to develop relationships with our exceptional faculty and graduate students. Whether through independent study, advising on theses or dissertations, or through support for leadership, volunteer, and internship experiences our faculty mentor our students closely. Students can expect to have contact with faculty that can range from academic or personal conversations to career decisions to working together on research and publishing.
