June 17-22, 2018

Colorado State University welcomes high school students from across Colorado for a week of engagement, exploration and connecting around issues of SOCIAL JUSTICE and the CREATIVE PROCESS.

Through collaboration with renowned Washington D.C. based mural artist Rose Jaffe as well as CSU faculty and staff, students will explore team building, intercultural dialogue, nurture individual and collective voice and foster communication across differences.

STUDENTS WILL LIVE IN A RESIDENCE HALL ALONGSIDE PEERS AND COLLEGE STUDENT MENTORS

WE WILL EXPLORE TOGETHER

  • HOW TO ADVOCATE FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE IN OUR COMMUNITIES
  • ISSUES OF GENDER EQUITY, BELONGING, ACCESS, AND JUSTICE
  • WHERE TO FIT IN ON A COLLEGE CAMPUS
  • WHAT A CAREER IN THE ARTS LOOKS LIKE THAT FOCUSES ON SOCIAL JUSTICE ADVOCACY THROUGH A GENDER STUDIES LENS
  • HOW THE CREATIVE PROCESS IS A PART OF YOUR STORY
